About Myranda

Home ownership brings a sense of security and provides a place to build lasting memories with family and friends. Myranda understands that home comes in many shapes and sizes. Since 2003, she has lived in sixteen different homes—as both renter and homeowner—due to the nature of dual military life.

Myranda has navigated the process of new construction from the initial planning and design phases to completion—twice. She was a landlord for seven years, managing her own property for three of those years.
She served for 11 years in the Mississippi Army National Guard, where she developed strong skills in organization, discipline, and leadership—qualities that have served her well through years of transitions and constant change. Her military journey began in the Army ROTC program at Mississippi State University and culminated in a deployment to Afghanistan, where she served as Mortuary Affairs Officer for the theater of operations under the 184th Expeditionary Sustainment Command during Operation Enduring Freedom (2010–2011).
As the military spouse of a retired fighter pilot and current civilian instructor pilot at Columbus Air Force Base, adaptability has remained central to her family life. Myranda and her husband, Ben, have three children: Rebekah, a local cosmetologist; David, a homeschooled student and athlete at Starkville Christian; and Naomi, also homeschooled, who enjoys horseback riding and occasionally competes in rodeo events.
Myranda’s background in public education made the transition to homeschooling a natural one. Her teaching experience equipped her to confidently navigate various learning environments, curricula, and educational cooperatives as her children’s needs evolved.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Mississippi State University, graduating magna cum laude, and a Masters of Leadership with an emphasis in Disaster Preparedness and Crisis Management from Grand Canyon University.
Through the years and many planned and unexpected moves, she has learned that a home is far more than a foundation, walls, and a ceiling. Home is where life happens, where hearts form close bonds, and where incredible memories are made. Myranda can be trusted to guide you on your journey to finding your own place to call home.
